There is Hope
There is Help!
Are you in crisis? DASPA is not a lifeline.  Please call 911 if someone is in imminent danger, Metro Crisis Services at 888-885-1222, or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255), a free, 24-hour hotline available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. The Douglas Arapahoe Suicide Prevention Alliance is a coalition of organizations representing mental health providers, law enforcement agencies, schools, youth initiatives, fire rescue departments, hospitals, and faith communities.

DASPA’s mission is to implement comprehensive, community wide initiatives for preventing suicide in Douglas and Arapahoe Counties, Colorado.

“Aiming for Zero” is our commitment to eliminating suicides in Douglas and Arapahoe Counties. It reflects our understanding that regardless of the resources available, some people will choose death over life. We are none-the-less aiming for zero suicides each and every day.
